Sareh
Lovasen is a graphic journalism major at Grand View University. And no, its not
writing graphic articles in journalism, its actually graphic design and
journalism put together to make one awesome major. One day she hopes to design
book covers or be a fiction author. Even though she hated writing as a kid, she
was always creating her own version of fan fiction and drawing.
Since
figuring out that she’s better at creating new universes and people then she is
equating math and playing with chemicals, Sareh’s delved into a variety of
things. She’s the author of two blogs, co-written on three other blogs, been
published in her high school’s devotional book, finished two novels, and
started an overabundance of other stories. Her favorite genres are science
fiction and fantasy, but also dabbles in historical fiction, paranormal, and
romance.
When she’s
not writing or designing story maps, Sareh can be found playing “battle” (epic
instrumental) music in the dorm hall, reading, hanging out with friends,
practicing violin, shooting her bow, engaging in random duels in sword fighting
on campus, designing jewelry, dancing, singing, planning a trip to see the
world, or playing badminton. And somehow she manages to get her homework done.
She
currently lives in Iowa, where beyond the corn fields, she drinks too much
coffee, eats chocolate, and plans to take over fictional worlds from her room.
Thank goodness she doesn’t have a roommate anymore (it wasn’t her fault she
left. Really. It was a deer.)
