Brianne Moore

Brianne is a high school senior in central Ohio, where she can see corn fields at one end of her street and interstate highways at the other. She plans to pursue a double major in English and Biology in college with a Spanish minor. As a kid, Brianne had more fictional friends than real ones, and spent most of her free time in her school libraries with her nose in books far too big for her.

She has been writing since the second grade, but got serious about the craft in 2010, and has since won two NaNoWriMo competitions, been published in a literary magazine, and attended a prestigious summer writing camp at Kenyon College, the alma mater of John Green. She now is an active member of the Young Writer Studio at Thurber House, the home of humorist James Thurber, and sits on the submission committee for the central Ohio literary magazine Flip the Page. Her current project is one that she considers ‘The One’, and plans to send it and its respective trilogy to publishing so that someone else can fangirl over her characters for a change. She writes Young Adult fiction novels in the science-fiction and dystopian genres, and is a diehard Trekkie. Live Long and Prosper.

When Brianne isn’t writing, she is satisfying her inner child with Disney movies or jamming to music. She also spends inordinate amounts of time researching topics that would put her on the FBI Watch List.
